Eden on the Chocolata

Imagine waking up in the morning by the birds and monkeys and that you start your day with yoga looking over the ocean. A healthy breakfast (included) is coming your way while you are drinking fresh brewed coffee at the rancho surrounded by banana trees.

We have a yogadeck with a view over the Nacascolo Bay. Enjoy the view in our shared rancho and dive into our swimming-pool to cool of from the year-round sun in Nicaragua. Exercise in our outdoor fitness which is free to use for our guests.

Inspired by nature

Inspired by nature, Eden has five 40sqm freestanding cabanas for guests to stay in. The cabanas are all made of eucalyptus wood and set up in such a way that you can enjoy your privacy. On the deck of your cabana you will be in the midst of our tropical hillside garden, enjoying comfort and nature at the same time. Every cabana has its own king-size bed (which can also be separated into two comfortable single beds), mosquito netting, ceiling and standing fans, a private bathroom with a shower equipped with hot water and a deck with a Nica-style hammock.

Exclusively healthy vegetarian/vegan food

Walk through our garden to the shared space of our rancho where you can hang out and enjoy the view over Nacascolo Bay. At the rancho we serve family-style communal breakfasts and dinners. Our fruits and veggies are all local and some of them even come from our own garden. To tread lightly on the environment, all of our food is vegetarian. You won’t have access to the kitchen to cook your own meal, so just enjoy the break and let us cook for you. Let us surprise you with our creativity in providing healthy and fulfilling and mostly plant-based meals.

Breakfast is served at 9 a.m. and is included in the price and dinner is served at 7 p.m. (15,00 dollars per person). An opportunity to connect with other guests and share travel stories. All of our meals are vegetarian and are inspired by different cuisines and cultures.

Yoga & Massages

Every morning at 7.30 a.m. we offer yoga on our yoga deck overlooking the ocean. Classes are 8 dollars p.p.. We offer massages at our eco-lodge for 30 dollar per hour.

Surrounding

We can organize all kinds of activities in the area, such as surf trips, catamaran trips and horseback riding.

Eden is located just outside of colorful San Juan del Sur, a small town in a horseshoe bay with lots of restaurants, bars and cafés. From our peaceful home base in the countryside you’re only a 10-minute drive or 30-minute walk away from town. Experience the best of both worlds! Eden looks out over Nacascolo Bay, a 10-minute walk. It’s a beautiful bay to walk around and relax. We organize surf trips to the manifold surf beaches around San Juan del Sur.
