Playground Hut

The playground hut is a cute one room timber cabin beside the small playground and pet field. It features a custom made bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and single bed above and a wood burning stove. Bed linens, towels, and breakfast are included.

The Playground Hut has electricity and access to shared toilet, shower and kitchen facilities.

The Playground Hut is part of the Slieve Aughty Centre, an eco-friendly, organic certified destination in the west of Ireland with thousands of miles of forest and country lanes to explore. The centre has a horse riding centre and an organic restaurant and wine bar on site. For active guests, hiking, cycling, and children’s activities offer plenty of opportunity to get in touch with nature and relax.

Food

Feel free to use the shared kitchen space and cook your own meals, or book a delicious organic meal from The Three Towers Eco House and Organic Kitchen on site. The restaurant offers buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner options daily by booking only, or call in any time from 12-5 to order off the daily cafe menu. From April to October every Friday night is a make your own pizza party, using the centre's wood fired outdoor clay oven. No matter what option you choose, you are guaranteed a fresh, delicious home-cooked meal.

About the kitchen
The shared kitchen is fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils, pots and pans, and refrigerator.
